Susan E. Searcy joins H & R Accounts, Inc. as Vice President, Finance

 

June 1, 2010 -- Moline, IL. H & R Accounts, Inc., an emerging provider of healthcare receivables management services, has hired Susan E. Searcy as Vice President, Finance. 

 

Ms. Searcy joins H & R after a 16-year career at Iowa Health System (IHS), the state’s largest health system with 11 hospitals and $2 billion in revenue. Ms. Searcy was most recently responsible for overseeing all patient accounting functions for the network, including billing, insurance follow-up, cash application, collections, customer service, and compliance functions at IHS. She managed a staff of 145 FTE. Prior to being responsible for patient accounting, Ms. Searcy was the Reimbursement Director for IHS.

In her position at H & R Accounts, Ms. Searcy will oversee all finance and accounting areas of the company.


Ms. Searcy holds a BA in Accounting from Central College. She is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a Fellow of HFMA. She has served in various capacities at the Iowa Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, including as Chapter President from 2007 to 2009.
